Research Of The Servo Motion Control Technology Of Wave Maker

Simulating random movement of sea wave in the wave basin and making research into the action of sea wave on coastal and offshore structures could provide the reliable basis for engineering design and scientific experimentation. Selection of advanced motion control technology, to improve the wave-wave simulation accuracy and stability is of great significance..This paper introduces the actuality and development trend of technology of developing wave maker, then works on the motion control technology and its key issues. Focus on the ROCKWELL company's Softlogix5800 programmable controller, integrated SERCOS interface motion controller principle and practical applications, ladder diagram programming etc.According to the project's requirements and feature, choose the best type of generating wave and explains the working principle. Then designs the wave maker control system, the system is using RSLogix5000 for programming, then download to the Softlogix controller, communicating serve drive using the SERCOS interface with optic fiber as the transmit medium, transmitting the control signal to server drive and control the serve motor to work, via encode line as the feedback of the motor. Then discusses each component of the control system.At last, in the chapter of designing and actualizing of the software expatiating the main program that programming using VC and the control software design that programming using RSlogix5000, and particularly introducing the communication between the two software. Then give the relevant programming example.Through the developing of single-axis Irregular wave maker control system, expatiating the Softlogix series 1789-L30 Softlogix controller and with SERCOS interface motion card 1784-PM16SE in the apply of makewave system.This servo motor-driven irregular wave machine system have high precision, stable operation, wiring simple, scientific research has been successfully applied to the test.
