In recent years, with the sustainable development of our country road, also in construction industry is gradually development to sustainable building, i.e., according to the principles of sustainable development as a theoretical basis for the design and construction of buildings. According to statistical data, large public buildings accounts for 1.22% of civil construction area, the area of the store building in large public buildings with a total construction area is accounted for a quarter of large public buildings area, and the amount of energy consumption per unit area in the first, shopping malls building large amount of energy consumption, in the running process produces a large number of "three wastes" pollution of the environment is serious. Therefore, the comprehensive consideration of environment and energy consumption index of shopping malls building sustainable development is urgently needed. But because of the lack of scientific evaluation system and effective assessment tools, relevant departments are difficult to comprehensive evaluation of shopping malls in the whole life cycle of building operation problem, so the research about shopping malls building sustainability assessment is particularly urgent.In this paper, in reference to the construction of sustainable evaluation theory at home and abroad, based on the analysis of the architectural sustainability factor of shopping malls, studied a large shopping mall building sustainability evaluation index system in xi 'an. Using principal component analysis method and the improved K-Means cluster analysis method to establish the comprehensive sustainability evaluation model of shopping malls building. This compound method is the first used in shopping malls building sustainability evaluation. With the aid of SPSS software, using the principal component analysis method to mass evaluation index for sifting and by principal component analysis calculated the weight of each index is obtained, with the improved K- Means clustering model a large shopping mall in xi 'an building sustainability of clustering analysis, get the sustainability of the market level. Finally, Ward clustering model is used to test the results of the improved K- Means clustering model, proved the feasibility and correctness of this method.In this paper, the shopping malls building sustainability assessment has the practical significance, for related departments to large shopping malls building sustainability assessment provides the effective method, and the sustainable development of buildings in shopping malls provides a solid theoretical basis.
