As an essential household appliance, the refrigerator provides a lot of convenience for people’s life. As the key and vulnerable parts of the refrigerating compressor, suction and exhaust valve of the compressor have a direct impact on energy consumption, service life, and noise performance of the refrigerator. This paper, therefore, puts suction and exhaust valve group as the research object, and its performance is analyzed with FSI( Fluid-Solid Interaction) method. This thesis mainly consists in the following aspects:Firstly, the control equations are derived in fluid analysis, solid analysis and coupling analysis when using FSI method, and the data transfer method between fluid analysis and solid analysis is analyzed in detail and seriously. Besides, this paper points out the importance of using the FSI method based on suction and exhaust valve type when they are analyzed. The specific settings are also given in this thesis in fluid analysis, solid analysis and coupling analysis.Secondly, 15 groups of FSI simulation models and 15 groups of noise simulation models are designed based on the features of the physical model of suction and exhaust valve group. High quality grids of fluid and solid model are divided after considering the special requirements on model during fluid solid coupling calculation. The concrete matters needing attention when meshing, at the same time, are provided to solve the same kind of problems.Thirdly, 5 groups of suction valve group with different thickness are analyzed using FSI method based on solid analysis software ANSYS and fluid analysis software Fluent. The results of the study, that suction valve thickness plays an important role on suction efficiency, noise level and service life of the compressor, can be used to provide the theory and direction on deeply optimal design of suction valve group. Finally, 10 groups of exhaust valve group with different valve thickness and lift limiter height and are analyzed based on solid analysis software ANSYS and fluid analysis software Fluent. After fluid solid coupling calculation, noise analysis and modal analysis, valve thickness and lift limiter height’s effect on exhaust efficiency, noise level and service life of the compressor are provided for the theory and improved direction on deeply optimal design of exhaust valve group.
