Taxiway is an important part to connect runway and apron, which is the key resource in airport surface. Taxiway route optimization is an useful way to improve the efficiency of airport surface running, reduce the taxiing cost and the environmental pollution, which is meaningful for not only the economic development but also the environmental protection. This paper focused on taxiway route optimization and the related technologies, which put forward the optimization method in terms of theory and did some depth research, established optimization model. Then, Numerical example was selected to test the theoretical results. Firstly, research background and significance are expounded to show the importance and necessity of this paper. By reviewing and summarizing the current researches, the lack was listed and the study content was pointed. Taxiway is a key part to airport, which has an important influence on the airport surface operation. Therefore, the airport system and surface operation was briefly introduced and analyzed to establish the airport surface network model. Meanwhile, taxiway route schedule problem was introduced in detail. Based on surface operation and taxiway route schedule, a multi-objective optimization model was established, which researched the relationship between the taxiing time and the fuel consumption. PAIA was used to solve the problem and the conclusion was verified by simulation experiments. Finally, from the perspective of the taxiway conflict, the categories of taxiing conflict and detection methods were discussed. The problem of taxiway route optimization was proposed on the basis of taxiing conflicts resolution selection, A* was used to solve the problem. The taxiing time was shortened by selecting the way to resolve taxiing conflicts and simulation results show the feasibility and advantages of the method.
