Along with social progress and the rapid development of construction engineering technology,there are more and more hydraulic constructions.The qualities of hydraulic constructions are very important for the whole project quality.Generally speaking,the main works of hydraulic construction aretwo parts: the concrete river bottom and concreterevetment retain wall,and they all belong to the huge concrete structure.Due to the influence of the external temperature and internal hydration heat also other factors,it is easy to produce cracks in the whole construction or partial position,which may cause serious damage to the whole engineering quality.So,how to effectively prevent the emergence of crack though the technical measures,ensure the stability of concrete river bottom and revetment concrete retaining wall structure,has become an important issue in the construction industry.After many years reseach and practice,the alternativebay method has been successful,the main advantages of alternativebay method is obvious,that is it can to ensure there is no crack in the huge and complex concrete structures.This paper firstly researched relevant theories in domestic and overseas.Secondly,this article reseached the main reason why the crack will appear.Then,this paper uses those theories into the river concrte bottom and concrete revetment retaining wall construction,analysised the effective and scientific about alternative bay method,and then summed up a standard alternative bay method.The scope of its research mainly includes the following:(1)This article summarizes the reason crackingappears in massive concrete construction,also the research status and basic theory of cracking control.(2)This article reseached the cracking control theory & technology ofriver concrte bottom and concrete revetment retaining wall construction,givethe advantage of alternative bay method and the best construction order of alternativebay method.By checking found jump key construction data warehouse method,such as jumping bin size,the maximum distance,the construction of the project has played a guiding role.(3)The alternative bay method used in the of Karamay riverproject,through used rationalization construction methods and preventive measures to avoid the phenomenon of cracks in mass concrete,and maintain its stability and security.Skip position method is an effective measure to avoid the cracks of mass concrete,it can save cost,increase the reliability and the value of the project,and it is worth popularizing.
