DC electromagnetic relay is component which uses low voltage and current to control high voltage and current, it has characteristics such as simple structure,high load capacity, small size, easy to control and install, which is widely used in automation control fields of industry and agriculture or national defense military.The theoretical life of DC electromagnetic relay is very long, usually ranging from one hundred thousand times to billions of times. But in use process, DC electromagnetic relay easy to work failure affected frequent movement, temperature,humidity and vibration in working process, seriously affecting the normal operation of system. Therefore, the reliability of DC electromagnetic relay causes great attention in various fields, studying the reliability of DC electromagnetic relay has important practical significance and theoretical value.Currently relevant scholars study the reliability of products mainly based on failure data obtained from tests which are destructive, for long-life products, using the tests is difficult to obtain a large amount of failure data, and unable to grasp the information of reliability within a feasible time. To solve these problems, we propose adoptting accelerated degradation test to evaluate the reliability of DC electromagnetic relay.Summarizing research status of ADT technology, designing research ideas of the thesis for insufficients of existing DC electromagnetic relay reliability test. Starting from the structure and working principle of DC electromagnetic relay, studying the relevant performance parameters and test methods, analyzing the main failure mode of DC electromagnetic relay, defining its weaknesses and obtaining failure criteria;and on this basis determining the stress level of the test, developing a reasonable test plan and expanding the test; based on Arrhenius model and performance degradation track model, we adopts least squares method to build accelerated model, andextrapolates life distribution parameters and reliability of DC electromagnetic relay at normal temperature(25?).The results prove that the ADT method which is based on the use of degradation data to assess the reliability of the test can draw the conclusion of life distribution and reliability functions, at the same time, address the problems of wasting resources and long test cycle issues. Finally, we summarize the existing DC electromagnetic relay reliability studies and point out the need for further research contents.The results shows that using ADT technology can not only obtains the relevant life and reliability information of DC electromagnetic relay, but also ensure the integrity of test and shorten the test cycle, has important reference value for other products which research reliability based on ADT technology.
