Fluid dynamic pressure thrust bearing can bear the axial load of rotating machinery, especially in the core parts of the national key industries of large equipment, such as energy, transportation, heavy machinery, aerospace, ship building and national defence, etc, has become a very extensive application. However, along with the development of science and technology progress, application environment deteriorating, operating conditions gradually improving, the working reliability of the thrust bearing is getting worse. Therefore, to ensure the safety of the thrust bearing in the actual work reliability becomes an urgent need to address. Heat transfer effectof thrust bearing whether reasonable will seriously affect itself can work normally, and targeted to explore tank internal flow state under different working conditions is very necessary.Using fluid lubrication bearing is a significant characteristic of thrust bearing, the normal work need to rely on a certain rotational speed to generate effective dynamic pressure oil film in order to make it operates stably. This topic takes the theoretical calculation and experimental measurement in two ways to study flow pattern in the oil tank, large thrust bearing oil groove of internal flow field is analyzed, the main mirror plate form the speed and the change of surface roughness to flow field numerical simulation analysis of the thrust bearing.This thesis mainly introduces the present situation of research and development of thrust bearing, and the most basic theoretical knowledge. Then the physical three-dimensional model is established by UG NX6.0, the mesh and boundary type is generated by Gambit, and the boundary conditions, numerical methods, turbulent models, wall are set in CFX. In the simulation, standard k-? model, steady and separate solver and iterative solution are used. According to the simulation calculation of four different conditions respe ctively have four different characteristics of flow state inside the tank, and thrust bearing 1/12 model mirror plate under 7.5 mm level section of total velocity diagram, radial symmetry plane hodograph, observe the change of the flow trend and further summary the distribution law of thrust bearing, thrust bearing is obtained by comparison and analysis of heat transfer effect and the mirror plate of the relationship between surface roughness and mirror plate speed, In the end, to provide reliable boundary conditions of the thermal deformation of thrust tile.
