With the development in researching the permanent magnet motor technology, the corresponding design theories, process optimization and control technology have made great process. Having the advantages of simple structure,high efficiency and energy-saving, the U-type single phase permanent magnet synchronous motor has been widely used in the field of medical equipment and micro motor such as small household appliances. Because of its special stator asymmetric air-gap structure, the U-type single-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor can emit vibration and noise affecting its usability and service life greatly in the operation process, which makes it a difficult problem for the designers to check and eliminate the vibration and noise.Relying on the ANSOFT MAXWELL software which is on the basis of two-dimension time stepped finite element method, the paper makes a simulated analysis of U-type single-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor. In order that the research on the magnet of U-type single-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor can be more systematic and comprehensive, the paper calculates the electric magnetic force of the stator side of air gap changing with space and time to discuss and analyze..At the same time, the paper conducts the Fast Fourier decomposition(FFT)using MATLAB software on the obtained radial electromagnetic force, the tangential component,analyzes the acquired data of harmonic component, and looks for the main order and harmonic frequency affecting the vibration and noise of the motor to seek the key of controlling the harmonic vibration, which provides the theory foundation and reference of stimulation data for future researchers when they analyze U-type single-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor electromagnetic force.Based on the existing electromagnetic force and the data of harmonic analysis, the paper compares the radical and tangential electromagnetic force of motor the stator side of air gap and its harmonic distribution of two U-type single phase permanent magnet synchronous motor with different structures.Moreover, the following results can help to summarize the general rules of electric magnetic force and harmonic distribution of two different motors, providing the alternative basis for follow-up researchers according to their own needs.
