Analysis Of Bridge Construction Technology And Characteristics Based On The Results Of Zhaozhou Bridge Investigations

Our country has a colorful culture of bridges,while the stone arch bridge technology is one of shining pearls in this treasure house.No matter the bridge structure,construction technology method,or the overall form of artistic expression,our stone arch bridge has the quite deep attainments.However,even if the long history of bridge construction and so much experience of practical examples,the work like the real theory research,the summaries of technologies,and the force analysis,lagged much to the west.In recent years,with the rapid development of modern bridge,the position of stone arch bridge is declining gradually.A large number of ancient bridge don't get due protection or demolished directly because of the city planning.In this paper,based on the survey and analysis of Zhaozhou bridge,I collect and collate the existing materials of Zhaozhou bridge.And I make a further step to see the calculation of arch bridge theory,the overall mechanic analysis of Zhaozhou bridge,the joint action of arch structure,the stabilities of foundation and so on.I aim at probing the craft of arch stone bridge construction and its structure characteristics,in order to provide information and reference for the research and protection of ancient bridge in the future.
