The stone arch bridge is an arch bridge which is built with high compressive resistant stone material.The arch bridge has the advantages of large carrying potential,in favor of popularization,less maintenance cost,saving steel and cement,simple structure,local materials,and so on.Therefore,it was built more in our country.And it also made great contributions to the development of road traffic system.However,with the continuous development of transportation system in our country,coupled with the shortage of the bridge structure itself and limitations on the level of construction design at that time,the stone arch bridges are generally suffering from different degrees of disease and even collapse.It is extremely urgent to evaluate the existing stone arch bridges and reinforce the reconstruction.This thesis takes Dongze Bridge project of Hancheng as the research background.During the process of reinforcing design,the theory of safeity evaluation and the principles in strengthening design have been used.The comparison of bearing capacity and integrity between the original structure and the reinforced one is proved that inner sheathed arch method of strengthening design is effectively.And these conclusions can offer reference for same projects.Firstly,The development and characteristics of stone arch bridge and the present situation of reinforcement at home and abroad were summarized by looking up the relevant documents.And the purpose,significance and content of this thesis was introduced;Secondly,This thesis analyzes the common diseases and causes of stone arch bridge,and summarizes the common reinforcement methods of stone arch bridge on the basis of previous studies;Then introduced several safety assessment methods of bridge,and the comprehensive safety assessment of Dongze Bridge is carried out by using the method of appearance survey and the method of theoretical calculation in combination with the project background;Finally,The "inner sheathed arch method" was established according to the conclusion of evaluation.A stone bridge model is established by using finite element software,through the bridge reinforcement bearing capacity limit state before and after contrast,show the effectiveness of the proposed method.
