Since the new period, with the continuous growth of our country's moderation construction, the shortcomings of mortar mixing is increasingly obvious in the construction site, which greatly hinder the high efficiency and high quality of site construction. In order to improve this problem, the population of ready-mixed mortar technology has become the inevitable demand in the construction site.Basing on the application of ready-mixed mortar in Tianjin Jufu Yuan business building project, experimental research of ready-mixed mortar was studied from two points of performance optimization and application technology. The research contents included: effect of sand fineness on ready-mixed mortar's water consumption, strength and construction performance, effect of thickener on ready-mixed mortar's water retention and strength. The effect of retarder on setting time and strength of ready-mixed mortar was studied. Besides, the impact of fly ash content, ready-mixed mortar consistency and different base materials on ready-mixed mortar performance was also investigated. The segregation phenomenon analysis was also carried.Through the analysis of the test process and results, water consumption of ready-mixed mortar had a descending trend, while 28 d compressive strenghth showed an increasing trend with the increase of fineness modulus in the same consistency condition. HPMC was better than PAM for water retention of ready-mixed mortar, and mixing of sodium citrate could prolong the setting time of ready mixed mortar. The mortar strength would be significantly increased when fly ash was added to the ready-mixed mortar. Water loss of ready-mixed mortar was faster and it was more likely to crack because of larger water absorption of aerated concrete bock. The segregation phenomenon of ready-mixed mortar by pneumatic conveying truck transport was more serious than by Reamer transport vehicle. The segregation of feed opening samples was more serious when full feed. Therefore, the site generally selects feeding when storage silo of ready mixed mortar had 1/4 warehouse or semi warehouse, it could effectively reduce the segregation.In this paper, the results can be applied to practical engineering, which could also be the theoretical foundation of the population and application of ready-mixed mortar.
