In the contexts of building energy efficiency and prohibition of on-site mixing mortar, it has been an urgent problem in the field of building energy efficiency that achieving the commercialization of thermal insulation glazed hollow beads mortar and promoting the use of ready-mixed thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar that it is a new, inorganic, fire protection, environmental protection materials. So, the research is meaningful on technical tests of commodity glazed hollow bead mortar.At present, most of the products of thermal insulation glazed hollow beads mortar are the bags of dry materials, and are not real ready-mixed thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar. Thermal insulation mortar of glazed hollow beads that is popularized in the constructional material market is mostly used for the plastering engineering, which is only provided full rules for technological performance of thermal insulation mortar of glazed hollow beads adopted in the plastering engineering. There is still barely special thermal insulation mortar of glazed hollow beads for masonry engineering and ground engineering, and above same situation also comes to the research and systematic rules for technological performance of masonry engineering and ground engineering. For the above reasons, the theoretical analysis and test verification is carried out for ready-mixed glazed hollow bead plastering, masonry and ground mortar in this paper. The details of research are mainly the followings:(l)The performance of glazed hollow bead mortar that were produced by the larger glazed hollow bead mortar companies on the market, and the mortar's technical performance indexes were analyzed and summarized.(2)The mechanism analyses of thermal conductivity that the most important technical performance indexes of ready-mixed thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar have been proposed, and the mathematical model of composite ready-mixed thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar was put up. Based on the mathematical model, the main impact factors for thermal conductivity were calculated and the results provide a theoretical basis for the mix design of ready-mixed thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar. To meeting requirements of 65% of building energy-saving premise, different thermal conductivities were calculated by theoretical analysis for ready-mixed thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar being used to different areas, different substrate wall and different insulation layer structure. The results could be theoretical basis for ready-mixed thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar insulation system design and preparation of technical specification in application of ready-mixed thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar.(3) The theoretical analysis of compressive strength which is the main mechanical properties of ready-mixed thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar was done. According to the existing norm of design, construction and acceptance for plastering projects, masonry projects and ground projects which provided the technical performance requirements of the mortar, combined with issued ordinary ready-mixed mortar and technical specification in application of thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar, the technical performance index value of compressive strength, consistency, water retention, setting time and construction curing conditions were proposed in this paper.(4)The paper introduced ready-mixed thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar insulation system's design and construction program applied in practical engineering, mixed with thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar of existing building in Shan fang dorm energy-saving projects in the practical application. Project example showed that the technical performance indicators to meet the design, construction requirements and could achieve 50% energy-saving target when projects used ready-mixed thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar.Technical performance study and proposion to concrete technical performance value have practical significance for regulating the manufacture and application of ready-mixed thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar, and lay the theoretical foundation for preparing technical specification of ready-mixed thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar, and promote industrialization and market of ready-mixed thermal insulation glazed hollow bead mortar, and are meaningful for the realization of our goal of building energy efficiency.
