The Research On Urban Park Landscape Planning Based On The Concept Of Edibility

With the development of our society and economy,urbanization has entered a rapid development stage,the urban park as an important part of urban landscape has been play a pivotal role on cities.Traditional urban park plant landscape focus on visual feelings and ecological benefits,although this article study landscape planning based on the concept of edible landscape,aims to explore a kind of park landscape mode which both can reflect the landscape function and provided edible material.And try to realize the unity of ornamental function,ecological function and the edible function of the city park.The study area of this paper is located in Yiyang city of Hunan province,a park where is called xiufeng park.The author have researched plant landscape present situation and the characteristics of the plant layout buy use empirical analysis and some other research methods.This study have great significance of developing the plant landscape of Xiufeng park.In the process of continuous development of human society,the background of social productive forces,science and technology level and the change of human aesthetic demand lead to the reform of urban park landscape planning content.Hence the park landscape planning which based on the concept of edibility will be the one of the major landscape planning model.This article main research results are as follows:(1)This paper expounds the historical origin of the edible landscape,compared the similarities and differences between traditional landscape and edible landscape,and the concept of edible landscape has made the preliminary definition.(2)Based on geographical features,landscape effect and economic benefit as the filter factor of the edible landscape plant,founded the edibility of landscape plants screening method.(3)This paper summed up the principles of edible landscape planning of city parks.And elaborated the content of edible landscape planning.Besides,the study introduces relevant theory of landscape planning and try to build edible landscape theory system.(4)The research have analyzed the present situation and deficiencies of landscape of the park in detail.(5)According to the the filter factors,edible plants which suitable for this park have been found out.And each functional area of Xiufeng park have been planned and designed by using edible landscape methods.
