This paper carries out an experimental research on the variations of basic physical and mechanical properties before and after the two coarse aggregates,i.e.,limestone and basalt, are mixed. It also analyzes and concludes the influence of basalt coarse aggregate's amount on the overall physical and mechanical properties of mixed coarse aggregates. To study the influence of aggregate-asphalt adhesion on the anti-sliding and durability of asphalt mixture, test evaluation is conducted on the adhesion of the adopted two aggregates and asphalt. Then, based on indoor tensile test,it concludes the influence of surface structure characteristics of “materialized aggregates” on the bonding properties of “materialized aggregates”-asphalt interface;the indoor accelerated polishing test is carried out to study the variations of the anti-sliding and durability of asphalt mixture with different amounts of basalt and made of different asphalts. Then, the paper analyzes the influence of the aggregates-asphalt interface's bond strength on the decay rate of mixture's anti-sliding indicators.Main Conclusions:1.According to the experiment on the variations of basic physical and mechanical properties before and after the two coarse aggregates(Los Angeles abrasion value, crushing value, impact value, polishing value, density and water absorption tests),the results show that the anti-sliding and durability of basalt coarse aggregate is obviously better than that of limestone. The basic physical and mechanical properties of mixing coarse aggregate are linearly enhanced in line with the increase of the amount of basalt, with a good correlation. The specific surface area test and scanning electron microscopy observations are carried out for two coarse aggregates,i.e.,limestone and basalt. The results demonstrate that the surface of the limestone is noticeably more better than basalt.2.The improved boiling method is adopted to test the adhesion of two coarse aggregates, limestone and basalt, with the adhesions of 387.4 pa s×,34641 pa s×and 56190.8 pa s×.Results show that the adhesion of limestone and asphalt are noticeably better than basalt. The higher the viscosity of asphalt and its aggregates is,the better the adhesion is.The indoor tensile test is conducted to study "aggregate materialized"-asphalt interfacial bonding properties and failure mode with different temperatures, asphalt viscosity and film thickness and materialized aggregate surface structural conditions. Finally, the paper proposes the numerical model reflecting the above factors' influence on the bonding properties of "aggregate materialized"-asphalt interface.3.studying the effects law of mixing amount of basalt on anti-skating and endurance quality of bituminous mixture based on the indoor acceleration polishing test. The research results show that with the increase of mixing amount of basalt,BPN and TD of present the phenomenon of raising when the mixtures are in original state and disintegration steady state,if using disintegration steady value to evaluate anti-skating and endurance quality of mixtures, about 60% of mixing amount of basalt is suggested;for disintegration rate, the disintegration rate of BPN in earlier stage presents the trend to become slow with the increase of mixing amount of basalt, while the disintegration rate of TD in earlier stage presents opposite variation trend with the increase of mixing amount of basalt;the general research results show that the stickiness of aggregate-pitch affects the speed of spalling rate of mixture asphalt film to mainly affect anti-skating and disintegration rate of mixtures in earlier stage.
