| Asphalt pavement surface layer is located on the surface of the asphalt pavement,and plays a role in load bearing layer and function layer,which requires a good wear resistance and road performance.The aggregate of asphalt pavement surface layer is mainly basalt aggregate,but at present,there is a shortage of basalt resources,and the cost is high.China produces a large number of ceramic waste each year,failed to rational use,and limestone resources are more abundant.Therefore,it is of great significance to use ceramic recycled aggregate and limestone aggregate to replace the basalt aggregate applied to asphalt pavement surface layer.In this paper,we will study three kinds of asphalt mixture combination scheme,basalt and limestone aggregate,basalt and ceramic recycled aggregate,limestone and ceramic recycled aggregate.Taking the AC-13 asphalt mixture type as an example,the material gradation design of three kinds of asphalt mixture is carried out,and the pavement performance of three kinds of asphalt mixture is studied.First of all,according to the material properties of the ceramic recycled aggregate,the wear resistance and the poor adhesion of the ceramic recycled aggregates is explained by the mechanism of the composition and microstructure analysis.Secondly,for the adhesion of ceramic recycled aggregate,using the method of adding silane coupling agent in asphalt,the adhesion of ceramic and asphalt was improved,and the water stability of asphalt mixture was improved.Then,the surface layer functionality of the ceramic recycled aggregate asphalt mixture is obtained by the heat resistance test and wear resistance test.In the aspect of heat resistance,the mixture of ceramic recycled aggregate is much better than that of basalt and limestone aggregate.In the wear resistance test,the mixture of limestone and ceramic recycled aggregate is much better than that of limestone.In the end,according to the water stability test,rutting test and low temperature bending test,the pavement performance of ceramic recycled aggregate asphalt mixture is obtained.The asphalt mixture of limestone and ceramic recycled aggregate is an ideal asphalt pavement surface layer design scheme,which can meet the requirement of pavement surface layer and improve the function of asphalt pavement surface layer. |
