The Ways To Improve The Durability Of Cold Mix Asphalt Mixture

Because of its driving comfort and geological conditions of strong adaptability,asphalt pavement are widely used in each grade highway and city road.With the increase of traffic volume and the long-term use,asphalt pavement will inevitably appear much diseases,this will reduce the service level of road.If the diseases can not get timely maintenance,and there will be a pit slot.Pit slot can affect the beauty of the road,and also can affect the vehicle safety and comfort.Because of its good storage ? simple construction and small influence by the environment,cold mix asphalt mixture are widely used in the repairing of pit slot.Cold mix asphalt mixture consists two types,one is solvent and the other is emulsion.The purpose of this study is to establish a reasonable evaluation system in the road performance of two types,and divide each road grade,and make a reasonable using of cold mix asphalt for a pit slot repair,to meet the requirements of the use of roads,at the same time,to enhance the durability of cold mix asphalt mixture and the economical effect,and also avoid the blindness and informality of choosing cold mix asphalt mixture.First,choosing the reasonable isolation agent(diesel oil,white oil,engine oil),cold patch additives(USP),emulsifying agent and modified(SBR),and using appropriate method of the preparation of solvent cold rehydration and modified emulsified asphalt,and test these to conform the requirements of the use of emulsified asphalt;Then,mixture the ratio design method of cold patch mixture at home and abroad,o determine the ratio design method of asphalt of solvent cold paving asphalt mixture and emulsion :gradation design,ash content,the optimum asphalt content,and using the paper agent identification in view of the optimum asphalt content;Then,the road performance of cold mix asphalt mixture has little evaluation system,comprehensive evaluation method of cold mix asphalt mixture at home and abroad,modification on the road performance evaluation system of hot mix asphalt,developing the evaluation system of cold mix asphalt mixture in this paper;Finally,the preparation of the aging test for cold mix asphalt,respectively for the solvent and emulsion type cold mix asphalt of the initial strength?the final strength?water stability ? high temperature rutting ? low temperature crack resistance and four-point bending fatigue test,compare and analysis the data,dividing the road levelfor various materials to improve the durability of these material and to prolong service life;This paper puts forward a set of complete road use performance evaluation method of cold mix asphalt mixture,there is a good guiding significance for adopting cold mix asphalt mixture for each grade road,avoiding the blindness,and achieving good social and economic benefits.
