According to the related statistics,the death toll of traffic accidents highest in the world of China in recent years.Among the road traffic accidents,the major accidents accurred in the mountain highway account for large proportion,of which the most easily lead to accidents in longitudinal road.The driver factors is the main factors to cause the road traffic accidents,and the driving load have a greater impact on the driver in the driving,it wil lead to the driver make the wrong decision and cause road accidents.Therefore,carring out the mountain road driving load research have important significance,it can help to optimize the road construction and reduce the probaility of accidents,to provide references for the design of mountain highway.Based on the previous research results and combined with the actual vehicle road tests,we designed experiment about the driving load test under the Chongqing region of mountain two-lane highway.According to analysis the influence factors about driving load,and ultimately that the heart rate variability as s an evaluation index about driving load.Combined with specific experimental data,we focuses on analysising the relationship between the road alignment,vehicle driving parameters and the driving load,it analyzed the date about the uphill and downhill section,as a result,set up the corresponding relational mode through the date.As while,we research the relationship between the foot manipulation amount and driving load and set up the mathematical model.It shows that the mathematical model can reflect the relationship between pedal force and driving load.The results show that the impact of slope length on driving load is weak and can be ignored when driving on the longitudal road.Through partial correlation analysis show that longitudinal slope,acceleration and driving load have strong correlation.And the slope and acceleration more greater,the heart rate change more outstanding.By comparing the correlation coefficient found that the slope has more influence on driving load than acceleration.The downhill section more likely to cause changes in heart rate than the uphill section when driving the road,and have a strong correlation when driving the downhill section.So when we driving the downhill mountain should pay attention to road safety.Through analysis the acceleration characteristic,it show thatdownhill deceleration significantly higher than the uphill acceleration.According to the vehicle manipulation,with the pedal force increased,the driving load will increasing.Between the pedal force and driving load have a positive correlation,and the brake pedal force is significantly stronger than the throttle pedal force.And the brake pedal force range larger than the throttle pedal force,and the brake pedal force is mainly distributed from 26 to 42 Newton,the throttle is mainly distributed from 20 to 32 Newton.In addition,between the longitudinal slope and the pedal force have some weak correlation and the slope will affect pedal force.Finally,we set up the model about the pedal force and heart rate,and according to the residual analysis indicates that the model has better accuracy,it has a guidance value when driving on the mountain road in the future.
