The new PEC columns is the flange curling and additional Rachel slab model PEC columns.Its advantage is not only decreases the traditional PEC columns under biaxial stiffness difference and decrease the construction difficulty and compared with the conventional PEC columns have higher bearing capacity and greater resistance to lateral stiffness and better energy dissipation capacity.The self-centering structure utilizes the pre tension of the auxiliary energy dissipation element which is applied to the structure to realize the post earthquake reduction of the residual deformation,the delay structure of the main stress component damage process and the reduction of the post earthquake repairing cost.In this paper,the performance advantages of the above two aspects are put forward,and the friction energy dissipation part of the new type of PEC columns-steel beam middle layer side jointand with the self-centering.Based on the performance of seismic design using novel PEC column and steel beam T-shaped parts connected to the new self reset nodes form to better the implementation structure through self reset,energy dissipation capacity and redundant structure for safety degree of organic unity.In this paper the use of high-strength pretension of new roll type T connector connecting bolt wear edge PEC column steel beam connection with T-energy auxiliary energy beam on the part of a self reset edge node as the object of study,taking the middle node of the frame structure as the experimental prototype,considering the layout of PEC column(strong / weak axis),applied the design parameters such as column force,combined with laboratory equipment and loading the actual engineering boundary conditions,according to the 1:1.6 scale designed 3 joints,and horizontal low cyclic loading test,by observing the experiment phenomena and test data analysis the design parameters on hysteretic performance,energy dissipation capacity,self reset function,failure mode and node domain transfer mechanism influence law.In addition,using finite element software ABAQUS modeling simulation and with experimental test comparative analysis to verify the feasibility of the finite element model.Further research related design parameters(the way of PEC columns arranged,the length and thickness of the strengthen cover plate,high-strength screw pretightening force,PEC columns under axial pressure,T shaped flange bolt arrangement)on test performance was investigated.This paper is system of new curling PEC column – steel beam middle edge T-joint energyintensive part of self-centering connection by the seismic performance of,research results for subsequent self reset frame structure research and engineering practice to provide a reference.
