Analysis And Research On The Faults Of Main Transformer In Substation

Power transformer is an important equipment of power system. With the development of the national economy, electricity demand grows rapidly and the running state of power transformer directly influences the operation of the system. Due to manufacturing defects, harsh operating conditions and insulating aging, faults often occur in transformer, which has negative effect on the power system. Therefore, analysis and research on the faults of transformer are of great significance.This paper analyzes the faults of the main transformer in four substations located in Tianjin and measures are put forward to reduce the faults. Through the detects and tests of the transformer, analysis is made to find out the causes according to the results.
