| With the rapid economic development in coastal areas, humans have an increasing demand for land, and coastal reclamation has become an important way of expanding the land resource. In our current coastal projects, large-scale reclamation projects are increasing, and coastal reclamation in Nantong Sea Area is also being carried out. In order to assess the effect of reclamation project in radiation sandbank area on the mass transport, topography erosion and siltation in sandbar and waterways, it is necessary to study the evolution of the tide field in Nantong Sea Area, and analyze the effect of long-term planning on the tide hydrodynamic characteristics. This paper established a tide mathematical model of the South Yellow Sea in a wide range, and verified the correctness of the model by comparing with the measured data. Based on establishment of the mathematical model of Nantong waters with different terrains, the long-term planning of Tongzhou Bay in Nantong waters was studied carefully. By studying the effect of different terrain on the tide hydrodynamics in the entire radiation sandbank area and local area in Tongzhou Bay after long-term planning in 2030, tide field changes were obtained under the action of Reclamation project in Nantong Port. The feasibility of the project in the radiation sandbank area was finally verified, which provides theoretical basis and guidance method for the reclamation and port construction in the similar area.Meanwhile, based on the tide field of Nantong Sea Aera, this paper also performs a comparative analysis on the sediment transport caused by the change of tide in Tongzhou Bay. The results showed that the sediment siltation occurred in the north of the dike end and in the south of the dike head in Lengjiasha Port area, while the sediment scour occurred in the east of this area; the south central Yaosha Port area presented siltation, while sediment transport was not significant in other positions. This indicates that the long-term planning of Tongzhou Bay is feasible. |
