In project, the analysis of three-dimensional (3D) eddy-thermal coupled field has been a complex issue, as the finite element method (FEM) is widely used in engineering problems, this paper selects 1300W induction heating cooker as the application object whose 3D eddy-thermal coupled field is studied by using FEM. Including eddy current field analysis, eddy-thermal coupled process analysis and thermal field analysis, structural optimization design, calculation of skin effect and magnetic flux leakage etc.Firstly, based on Maxwell's equations, mathematical model and its boundary conditions which is fit for eddy current field, thermal field solving in the induction heating process is established. Next, the structure and principle of the prototype is analysed, in Ansoft software, the 3D eddy current field finite element model is built, and the prototype flux density distribution, eddy current distribution, eddy current power distribution is analysed. Then analyse the prototype parameter, calculate and compare the influence of various parameters on the structural performance. And then, considering the skin effect of high frequency heating, the correctness of EFM was verified by using both theoretical calculation and EFM.Taking eddy current field calculation results as load, using Ansoft software coupling simulation with Ansys workbench software, the eddy field and thermal field coupling is realized. The results calculated by the thermal field compared with test data, the accuracy of the coupling simulation is verified. Finally, according to the basic theory of electromagnetic field, magnetic stripe structure is optimized designed, the eddy current power and efficiency of the new prototype structure is calculated and compared. Considering the radiation of the induction heating cooker, its external magnetic flux leakage was calculated. At the same time, the degree of saturation of the magnetic stripe is analyzed and calculated.Using EFM to analyse 3D eddy-thermal coupled field In induction heating systems, can provide a reliable basis of the eddy current field and thermal field for other engineering problems.
