Frame structure is a widely used system in housing construction. The structure has good economical efficiency, adaptability, and good ductility, and it has a flexible building layout.The structure was maily used in constructing commercial buildings,school buildings, residential buildings and so on. Through the past earthquake disaster and test, we can find that filling wall not only played enclosure, partition,heat preservation and heat insulation effect in the frame structure and greatly enhances the stiffness of frame structure. In the realistic structural design engineers have only taken the method of period-reduction factor, without considering infilled walls species, arrangement and opening rate may effect the stiffness of frame. In designing,They have also neglected some advantageous and disadvantageous factors of the infilled wall. So in designing we can not ignore the effect of infilled walls on frame structurel. we should make use of the stiffness of infilled wall. This not only conducive to the safety of the structure but also play the role of saving material. Although there are a large number of scholars have made research on infilled wall at present, but if we want to clarify the mechanism of filling wall on the frame we have many problems to solve.In recent years, Solid clay brick have been replaced by steaming pressure fly ash block, light material concrete small hollow block, and concrete small hollow blocks and so on in building filling wall.the frame filled wall structure will have obvious economic and engineering anti-seismic advantageusing in using new material. Due to study the constitutive model and the related performance parameters have some problems on different materials of the infilled wall, Current seismic design specifications can not gives accurate periodic folded reduction about different materials and different arrangement of filling wall; Lead to structural designors lack of certain basis in the structural design, Research on the influence of new type masonry materials on frame structure should be increased.In view of the above, this paper mainly study the filling wall in the following aspects.(1) Collecting previous related literature, through analyzing and summarizing the previous research results in filled wall. Knowing what methods we can use tostudy the infilled frame structure and what problems are existing.(2) According to the calculated method of the lateral stiffness of the frame, To konw which factors have related to lateral stiffness of the infilled frame structure.Studying the infilled wall how to influence the lateral stiffness of the frame structure.(3)Using the pkpm-suasuge dynamic elastic plastic analysis software to study the influence of different materials and different arrangement modes on the frame structure.Through analysising how the floor displacement and inter story displacement angle to change to illustrate the different materials and different layouts of filled wall have different seismic effects to frame structure and different layout of the infilled wall how to form weak layer that how to influence the frame structure.(4) To use of pkpm-suasuge dynamic elastic plastic analysis software to investigate due to different materials of filling wall and layouts of the filled walls leads to the different problems of periodic folded reduction coefficient, and through comparising simulated data to draw meaningful conclusions.
