Frame structure infilled wall with new wall material, has obvious advantages inengineering economic and seismic performance. Compared with the solid clay brick weused before, the new wall material finds favor with people increasingly for its lightweight, energy saving, land saving and environmental protection. In recent years, filled wall materials with hollow concrete blocks, aerated concreteblock masonry has basically replaced the filling wall position of solid clay brick. Thespecification for the seismic performance and values of cycle reduction coefficient etc.of these new masonry as filler wall materials has not yet been clearly defined. Sincethere are very few studies of these new masonry materials, the understanding of newmasonry materials of structure design and engineering staff is not comprehensiveenough, which hinders the promotion of new masonry material. Meanwhile, in thecontext of the national energy and soil saving policy, it is urgent to increase research onnew masonry materials.Aiming at the changes of the frame structure infilled wall along the verticaldistribution and frame infilled reduction in cycle problem, this paper has done followingwork:(1)Collect previous related literature, and finally choose equivalent brace model forresearch concerning the filler wall, through analyzing and summarizing the predecessor’sresearch results on filler wall;(2)With SAP2000software, this paper analyzes response spectrum of12-story RCframe structure with filler wall. By changing the frame infilled material and adjustingthe vertical position of structurally weak layers, this paper analyzes changes in themaximum displacement between floors, floor displacement and displacement angle.Through the data contrast research, I study the seismic performance of RC framestructure with filler wall and the advantages of the new type masonry infilled wall;(3)Using SAP2000finite element software, this paper analyzes the the Reinforcedconcrete frame structure’s different cycle reduction factor values due to the differentwall materials filling and different layers of floors, and offers reasonable suggestionsabout natural period reduction coefficient values.
