This thesis combins with the actual selection for industrial robot and welding machine selection, and analyse MOTOMAN-MA 1400 industrial robot, DX100 control cabinet and CMT welding machine working principle, introduce the composition of automobile exhaust elimination product welding robot workstation, automobile exhaust product process design, welding robot workstation design, introduce mainly the scheme design of master station, including the process design of the electrical control system of the main station, the main design of PLC control program, the master station master is the core of PLC, PLC through the DeviceNet and robot, realize communication from the station, use C netcom-between PLC and touch screen. Finally introduce the welding robot workstation installation and test.This thesis analyzes the design and implementation by the welding robot workstation of the automobile exhaust elimination products, to achieve double the linkage of the robot and three external shaft, the robot can make a smooth trajectory tracking three external shaft arc, achieve MOTOMAN servo motor and the linkage of the robot external axial displacement machine, design large displacement machine, in order to install the welding and loading in the same big flip on the stage, employees operate at one location and welding robot in another location, at the same time. The realization of the project greatly reduces the product welding deformation, improve the welding quality of the product. At the same time the project reduces the area, make the welding logistics smoothly and improve the management level, the most important part of the project is to improve the labor productivity, improve the worker labor intensity and reduce the labor costs.
