As the Strong Smart Grid is constructed and stably improved by the State Grid, the integrated business data network, acting as the basic support for the construction of the smart grid, plays an increasingly important role in daily production of the company. To meet diversified business demands such as power consumption information collection, smart power selling/distribution service, Internet of Things technology, cloud terminal application, dispatching soft-switch and high-definition video conference, it has more stringent requirements on steady and safe operation of the integrated business data network.With in-depth analysis on the operation of the integrated power business data network of Tianjin, this paper will probe into existing network operation/maintenance problems as well as improvement potentials. Firstly, by analyzing network operation and future development trends, it will target problems such as local companies’ poor access to the integrated power business data network of Tianjin and instability of concatenation links, and propose transformation and optimization solutions for the provincial data network to overcome the problem of poor access; secondly, it will suggest optimization of the provincial integrated business data network of Tianjin with focus on its defects as well as optimization and transformation of the 2nd rendezvous point, which eliminates potential risk of single-point uplink, realizes the structure of non-local double uplink between the principal company of Tianjian/the 2nd rendezvous point of Binhai and the State Grid, and significantly improves the reliability of network operation; thirdly, it will put forward an optimization plan based on underlying physical link by utilizing the current power transmission network of Tianjin, and select some core links to carry out link optimization based on OTN, ASON and SDH network to further enhance operation of the integrated power business data network of Tianjin. Finally, considering current scale and deployment of the integrated power business data network of Tianjin, it will present a forward-looking optimization scheme on how to optimize Qos, upgrade from IPv4 to Ipv6, and reinforce security of the integrated business data network.With above optimization solutions, the integrated power business data network of Tianjin will be dramatically improved in terms of operation stability, network compatibility, security controllability, standard networking and adaptiveness to future demands. It will provide professional and comprehensive information communication support for development of the company and also for better construction of the smart power grid.
