This article is doing the research for the emission control of G200F general purpose engine which has got very big market demand. In this article, I will analyze the emission performance and control method of domestic and overseas competitors' products, combine with the knowledge of this field, and based on the enterprise's actual demand. And I have got fruits through a serial inner cleaning methods, such like combustion chamber optimization, piston and piston rings optimization, carburetor matching.1. The S/V of general purpose engine combustion chamber influences emission a lot, and we make the combustion chamber from bathtub shape to tent shape. This change can make the S/V reduced effectively.2. The space of combustion chamber influences emission a lot; reduce the small space between head of piston, piston ring and cylinder that can reduce gasoline engine's emission effectively.3. The character of carburetor fuel supplying influences emission a lot; we can get the best outlet and inlet fuel supplying curve by scanning methods.We get through the technological methods; such like combustion chamber optimization, piston and piston rings optimization, carburetor matching to make the emission of G200F gasoline engine meet the EPA III regulation which is the most strict emission regulation in the world without any cost increasing. It could be higher guidance and reference significance to the general purpose engine industry to find out the economic solution to gasoline engine emission control.
