This paper based on the general small gasoline engine exhaust emissions research of Loncin 1P65 FC. By using machine test, combining emission pollutants product mechanism and numerical simulation technique, optimizing air intake and exhaust system and carburetor oil supply system, launching the improvement measures of inside machine purification, got following results:(1) Reduce the gap of the cork and the firepower of plunger, use thinner piston ring and light weight plunger; realize plunger and piston ring lightweight. Change the shape of the combustion-chamber from bath tub to hemisphere, increased the volumetric efficiency of the cylinder.(2) After optimize the air intake and exhaust way, get stable high strength rolling airflow, improve the flow characteristic of the airflow; oblique valve arrangement and increase the circulation area between valve and valve retainer make fuel oil and air mixing more effective, improve the characteristic of burn and combination gas; suitable compression ratio makes engine work more gentle.(3) Optimize the main parts of the carburetor, improve the supply characteristic of the combination gas, increase the stability of the gasoline engine; use the optimized ignition coil, increase the ignition energy, improve the power and economy of the gasoline engine.It has significant meaning for Loncin enter US general gasoline engine market by optimizing and improving the parts and structural system above, combining emission pollutants product mechanism and numerical simulation technique, developing the small size gasoline engine to meet US EPA-III level emission regulation. At the same time, this will help Loncin improving and updating the emissions technology of small gasoline engine inland, improve the price competitive advantage and get benifits for the company.
