Research On Rural Landscape Planning And Design Of Northwestern Sichuan Province

With the development of construction of the beautiful villages in our country, the space and function of villages has changed a lot. Rural landscape should not only be regarded as the result of the development of the countryside, but also be regarded as a kind of resource to promote the development of the society. Rural development should be co mprehensive development, that is, promoting rural economic optimization, livable and appropriate to tourism and ecological protection as well as maintaining and creating geographical and cultural characteristics of rural landscape. In order to achieve this goal, it requires to use the concept of rural landscape to guide the rural construction. After analyzing the pattern of the rural landscape planning and design, the paper proposes a design thought about rural landscape planning and design of our country under the small scale.The paper studies the elements and characteristics of rural landscape in northwestern Sichuan Province, analyzes the current situation and problems of rural landscape in northwestern Sichuan Province, and puts forward evidences and pri nciples of rural landscape planning and design of northwestern Sichuan Province.The paper presents a classified structure about “binary landscape” of rural landscape in northwestern Sichuan Province. It uses the emerging method of landscape character assessment(LCA).The paper constitutes three kinds of policy of rural landscape in visual units classification of rural landscape in northwestern Sichuan Province: namely applicable to conservation of rural cultural landscape, applicable to landscape optimiza tion of functional rural landscape and applicable to innovative policy applies of negative ecological landscape.
