In recent years,the high level of earthquake disaster has occurred many times,which makes the focus of people's attention gradually shifted to the seismic safety of building structure itself.But in our country,the construction of the early construction,especially the residential buildings are mainly based on masonry structure.In the construction process of the masonry structure,the construction quality is uneven,and the design standard of technical guidance is limited,the calculation and analysis of the theory and the necessary security measures are not perfect,resulting in the earthquake structure is often severely damaged and to the people's lives and property caused huge losses.In the ninety years,China's "masonry structure design code" has been amended several times to improve the design standards,making the subsequent construction of new masonry structure has been effectively improved,to ensure its safety.But those who have experienced the historical years of the early construction of masonry structure is still a large number of residential buildings,the earthquake caused by the security risks can not be ignored.Therefore,to ensure the safe use of the early masonry structure,analysis of the seismic damage characteristics of the typical masonry structure,and to explore the mechanism of earthquake damage of typical masonry structure has a positive practical significance.At present,the research on masonry structure is the research object,or the masonry structure is studied,and the typical seismic damage analysis and the related experimental studies are few.Based on the collected data,the paper analyzes and summarizes the typical damage phenomenon,damage form and seismic damage characteristics of masonry structure,and selects a layer of external longitudinal wall of three story masonry structure to test the wall,and analyzes the bearing capacity and failure mode of the wall under seismic action.And provide reference for seismic design research.
