Demand response as a means of balance between electricity supply and demand,through the response strategy formulation and implementation, so as to realize the power load peak clipping fill valley, improves the stability of power system and the utilization rate of energy, reducing the pollution of the environment, each link of the network participation, and users including the whole society have very large benefits.This paper summarized the concept of demand response to classification in response to the demand response, and on this basis, according to Chinese demand side in response with the problems in the development, and put forward some rational suggestions.Through certain areas of Henan Province by field investigations, and to three kinds of typical users questionnaire, it got the users under different electricity price of peak and valley load transfer amount, in the actual transfer based on the load, and using a linear regression. It established three kinds of typical users demand response between the quantity and price of functional relation equation. Taking the typical user load as an example, it verified the validity of the model, and analyzed the user changes in electricity demand by the area before and after the implementation of the sharp peak flat valley electricity price changes, and then verified the correctness of the model of demand response, through comparison.It summarized and analyzed by combining the practice of three typical electric power user's equipment and electrical methods, and put forward different strategies of three typical users demand response. And from the perspective of the interaction of energy-saving technology, in order to achieve the best energy saving effect of user,energy saving is given by energy service company, with the signing of the contract energy management scheme feasible way to implement energy saving.
