In recent years, users have been interacting more frequently with the grid, and community-level energy systems with home energy management systems at their core offer new possibilities for increasing grid flexibility. However, due to the general improvement of people’s living standards, the attractiveness of financial compensation for users to participate in demand response is gradually weakening, and users are more willing to act according to their own psychological will, and the enthusiasm of users’ willingness to participate is the key that directly affects the quality of demand response services provided by the community. To fully exploit the regulatory potential of user participation in demand response,it is necessary to further explore the influence of its psychological factors on user participation in demand response behavior.Based on the above background, the work content of this paper is as follows:(1)Herd performance is a typical psychological phenomenon that reflects the tendency of users to imitate and follow the decision-making behavior of the majority in an uncertain decision-making environment;peer effect emphasizes the role of mutual influence within the same community group. To investigate the influence of user psychological factors on user participation in demand response behavior, the phenomenon of the existence of herd mentality and homogeneous group mentality among users was studied using a questionnaire.(2)To address the problem that community users’ demand response participation is influenced by psychological factors,a customer participation model considering users’ psychology and community electricity prices was developed. In this model, community managers guide customers’ electricity consumption behavior through tariff information to change their willingness to participate in demand response. In addition,to improve the demand response participation of community users, and information interaction platform is established within the community to motivate the response potential of users, considering the influence of user herd mentality on their response behavior, and the Nash social welfare function is used to describe the mechanism of user herd mentality. The analysis of an example shows that the proposed strategy gives full play to the potential of community flexible loads to participate in demand response. When users have similar electricity consumption behavior, the herd mentality can effectively improve users’ enthusiasm to participate in demand response, and the user response effect meets managers’ expectations.(3)The inherent drawback of realizing the herding psychology to guide users’ demand response behavior is that the demand response users in the community are larger than other types of users, which may limit the herding psychology effect to the positive effect of scheduling community demand response. In order to fully utilize the scheduling potential of irrational psychological factors on community demand response,a community demand response scheduling strategy based on the peer effect is proposed. The strategy utilizes the information interaction between users to guide other users to participate in community demand response. At the same time, considering that the community dispatch demand may not be satisfied by the peer effect alone, the dynamic penalty tariff mechanism is used to further motivate the community users to participate in demand response. The simulation results show that with the peer effect and dynamic penalty tariff mechanism, the proposed strategy can fully utilize the potential of community flexible load participation in demand response and function properly in communities where other types of users are larger than demand response users. |
