Studies have shown that the road runoff contains more than 120 kinds of pollutants,which will cause serious pollution to the environment along and the receiving water.In recent years,a lot of roads have been constructed in water source protection area,which brings social and economic benefits,but also brings a variety of environmental pollution and potential threats.Thus,finding a processing technology to avoid or mitigate runoff water pollution to the water along the line has great theoretical significance and engineering application value for the sustainable development of highway construction.This paper did a research on pollution control technology of road runoff in water source protection area through methods such as theoretical analysis ? indoor and outdoor experiments?simulation,which based on the Ministry of Transport project "Dali sea road safety and environmental protection technology research and demonstration".This paper also did a research on emission requirements for major pollutants in different water source protection area,combining the characteristics of road runoff pollutants with the relevant standards of surface water environmental protection requirements.Combining comparison for surface water pollution control technology in the world with the characteristics and site conditions of highway construction,we chose the soil infiltration processing system as the primary technical for road runoff pollution prevention in water resource.We analyzed it's mechanism of pollution prevention and related features and proposed suitable processing method for road runoff pollution prevention,solving it's main problems.Through research,we proposed the specific design processes and methods of soil infiltration processing system which is suitable for road runoff pollution control in water source protection area.Combining the processing requirements of surface runoff,we derived formula for unit time runoff volume and pollutant purification index,obtained acquisition method for filtration media-related parameters in processing system the principle of selecting the media,deduced related theoretical formula for selecting media,established design model for soil percolation processing system.While we studied numerical simulation technology for the soil infiltration treatment system design.We used simulation software HYDRUS-1D to simulate the effect sizeon pollutant removal effect of the main design parameters for soil percolation system,obtained relevant conclusions,which can provide the basis for the medium selection and the system preliminary design.Combined with the actual road construction,we studied the design method for soil infiltration treatment system under high embankments,deep-cutting and other special conditions,and we designed different forms of soil infiltration treatment system relying on the ecological plant tank and drainage culvert.Finally,combined specific examples with runoff processing requirements,we made a simulation for different types of soil infiltration treatment system by using HYDRUS-1D software,and we obtained suitable possible design parameter values for the some cases.The research results above have published a paper on Chinese core journals,obtained two national utility model patents,and corresponding achievement can provide technical information and design parameters for related technologies' specific design application in the future,can also provide references for related departments to formulate industry standards and design specifications.
