Rutting of asphalt pavement is one of the most common diseases.The causes can be summarized into three categories: external factors,such as summer heat,the wheel wear;no-road reasons,such as deformation of the roadbed;pavement reason is generally believed that it is mainly mixed with asphalt with high temperature stability related.Destruction of high temperatures and overloading of overweight vehicles on the road a great summer.Of course,the summer heat and ultra-axle load of the vehicle is difficult to completely eliminate.From the pavement design perspective,it is possible to find a better combination and road construction,for improving rutting resistance pavement.That should be the way governance rutting most cost advantage and good utility.The pavement mixture rutting own causes,generally presented as the wheels being below the asphalt mix subsidence,lateral flow asphalt cement,asphalt projections on both sides of the wheel,which is due to the asphalt at high temperatures,shear cutting ability is poor.In addition the size of the load of produce rutting is self-evident.Our general asphalt pavement in three to five years,it has emerged the phenomenon of serious diseases,even worse were more already appeared.In both the need to reduce costs,but also to ensure good repair,such as improving the road surface properties,improve rutting resistance,repair pavement cracks,so the old pavement reconstruction has become a problem.Noting abroad can solve this problem in the 20 ~ 25 mm thin layer of hot-mix asphalt pavement.Ultra thin layer of hot mix asphalt because its economy and good surface properties,is widely used in the overcoat old pavement reconstruction and new pavement.Compared to other countries,application and research of ultra-thin layer of asphalt in the country has just begun.For example,in 2004 the Ministry of Communications Highway Research Institute thin layer of asphalt concrete pavement technology research,This paper studies rutting performance of Ultra-Thin asphalt layers.Use 2cm thin layer of binder C + 5cm mixes two layer specimens.That dynamic stability is obtained by domestic rutting test instrument is the evaluation index.To explore its anti-rutting performance.Gradation from the start,select three commonly used grading: Type-B,improved OGFC,improved SMA-10(without the addition of fiber),are semi-open-graded,open-graded,gap-graded.Two kinds of asphalt: binder B,binder A,with three graded composition.In the standard load 0.7Mpa based on,the increase of 0.8MPa,0.9MPa,1.0MPa,1.1MPa simulate the effect of heavy loads.Through statistical analysis of the test results.improved SMA-10(without fiber)rutting performance is best in Three grading.At the same grading with binder B can be significantly improved dynamic stability,improve the mixture rutting resistance performance.Through the wheel pressure-dynamic stability(DS)equation fitting and linear regression analysis,it was found that with the increase of pressure wheels,dynamic stability of a larger decline.Verify that the heavy load huge impact on pavement rutting generation.But also to give each grading wheel pressure-dynamic stability(DS)The characteristic trend.Type presented as convergence trend.Comparative analysis of two variables by pressing different pitch and different wheels,we can see an ultra thin layer of asphalt hot asphalt mixture rutting resistance improving key is graded choice.
