| With the rapid developing of traffic engineering in civil, heavy-load phenomeno has become more serious. It's of great necessary to make highway preventive maintenance to keep service qulity, Ultrathin wearing course is a thin overlayer that be placed on surface of old pavement, it could be used to improve the service age, driving comfortable, anti-sliding and water-proof qulities. The effects of Ultrathin wearing course is connected to asphalt mixture characters, including materials, grading, and interlayer bonding. So it's important that which asphalt mixture would be more suitable to ultrathin wearing course.Basing on the related research, the paper focused on four kinds of common wearing course, including NovaChip-C, AC-13, SMA-13, and OGFC-13. Firstly, four kinds of wearing course was design by indoor test, their road performance were compareded either. Secondly, using AC-13 mixture as old pavement, SBS modified emulsion as tackcoat, four wearing course were overlayed individly, the anti-shear strength of fours wearing courses were tested by multifunction interlayer stress instrument, to confirm suitable spread rate of tackcoat. Consinder on comprehensive performance, including shearing strength and economy cost, NovaChip was finally thought to be best wearing course. The paper also analyzed on the construction technology of NovaChip by experiment section in Xian-Lintong highway. |
