Shield method is applied more and more widely with its many advantages in the construction of urban subway tunnel, becoming the first or even the only choice in many occasions. However, the construction of the tunnel shield will inevitably has a negative impact on the ground and surrounding buildings. Due to the particular environment of urban subway, the ground settlement caused by shield construction and its damage to nearby buildings have become an urgent problem. Therefore how to reduce the adverse impact of the shield construction is worthy of in-depth theoretical research and technological development. Taking SuZhou subway line 4 Su Jin station-GuanQian station project as the background, the paper writing is carried out to solve this problems, based on the measured data. The three dimensional elastoplastic model is established through the large-scale finite element software ABAQUS, to simulate the process of shield excavation through the building. And ground surface deformation caused by shield tunnel construction and building deformation are analyzed in this paper.This paper mainly contains several parts:(1) To sum up the current research status of predecessors, and put forward the research significance of this paper. the mechanics principle of shield construction, introduction of the finite element software-ABAQUS and the realization of the tunnel shield excavation in ABAQUS are described in this paper.(2) To carry out the numerical simulation of tunnel shield excavation. The model of the interaction between tunnel and soil structure is established with ABAQUS, taking a five-layer reinforced concrete frame structure as the research object. Then the the simulation results and the measured data are compared to analyze the surface deformation, structural deformation and structure stress.(3) To analyze the impact of the soil storehouse stress and grout injection long-term strength on surface subsidence with the numerical none-building model.(4) Build buildings and cut into different distance from the tunnel axis and at different angles of model, be: building stiffness constraints of the deformation of ground and buildings; With the increase of Angle between each other, building foundation tilt by the start of the is given priority to with longitudinal inclined to give priority to with lateral tilt.(5) To research the reinforcement effect of separating walls in the shield construction by comparing the models with or without separating walls. Conclusion: building horizontal displacement reduced about 55%, the vertical settlement displacement decreased by 60% or so.Finally, to summarizes the research achievements and put forward the prospects of shield excavation research.
