Linked column braced steel frame is a new lateral force resistance structural system,it is consists of fuses connected with dual columns of braced frame.Under earthquake action,fuses will firstly enter a plastic phase and dissipate energy.post-earthquake,the damaged fuses can be easily replaced,lower repair costs,shorter maintenance time,thses can reduce the loss in the use of architectural function.It has engineering value for seismic performance analysis of linked column braced steel frames and given the suggestions for how fuses effect seismic performance of the structure.11 models have been designed in this paper,they have been divided into the following four parts to study: 1)Compared pushover analysis has been taken between linked column braced steel frame and K-eccentrically braced steel frame,compared with K-eccentrically braced,linked column braced steel frame has excellent seismic performance.2)It has analyzed the influence of the length of fuses on the seismic performance of linked column braced steel frame.Analysis results showed that in a certain range,the longer the fuses,the smaller the rotation and the inter-story displacement angle of the structures.3)It has analyzed seismic performance of different heights of linked column braced steel frames.Analysis results showed that restriction effect of linked columns can make all the fuses consume seismic energy,so that make main structure stay in elastic range.Linked column braced steel frame improve the lateral stiffness of the structure,thus,the inter-story displacement angle and layer maximum displacement become smaller.4)The influence of assign position of linked columns and braces on structures have been studied.The results showed that when linked columns and braces arrange in the middle of structures,the seismic performance of linked column braced steel frame is better than other arrangement mode.After research and analysis,it is better to choose X-centrically braces in linked column braced steel frame,and arrange linked columns and braces in the middle of structures.The ratio of linear stiffness of fuses and story stiffness should be between 1.5?4.
