Ancient buildings show the country's glorious history, the history of ancient buildings is the carrier of culture, ancient architecture inspired patriotism and national self-confidence of us. They can be good clues to the searches of ancient Chinese history,and they are also important material basis to the development of tourism. Meanwhile,ancient architecture will be significant examples for new designments or creations.Traditional architecture in Huizhou of the ancient regional culture precipitate has dazzling achievements. Huizhou architecture is one of the most incredible achievements in all of Chinese ancient buildings which are valuable because of their artistic quality and long-term history. The worth of those buildings is that they are things left over from history, they are impossible to be rebuild and reconstructed, that's the reason why they are so precious because they can't be returned back if they were damaged. Especially if the timber frame poles damaged the whole building will be deeply effected as well, for the column's security is the key to keep the entire wooden frame, as well as ancient buildings, not to collapsed or damaged. But after years of baptism, the Huizhou traditional architecture were badly damaged since human and destruction of natural forces. However, Huizhou traditional timber frame buildings have suffered a lot, so the protection of the ancient buildings should be an emergency for us. Results of this study can make some contribution for the future protection and restoration of ancient buildings. The main contents and research results are as follows:(1) On the basis of the large number of documents and data, expound the current situation, the origin, development and the structure of Huizhou traditional architecture(2) On the basis of previous research, through access to information, expounding the Huizhou traditional building wooden forms of damage such as rotten wooden pillars and columns dry shrinkage crack, wooden splitting cracks, insects such as, analysis the Huizhou traditional building wooden damaged reasons, then, sums up the ancient wood structure building wooden repair methods.(3) This paper takes a typical Huizhou building as an example, by calculating the actual load of the upper part of wooden bear.(4) According to "design of timber structures," summed up the ancient wooden building strength, stability checking formula, and then determine whether the strength and stability of the poles meet regulatory requirements.(5) we use the finite element software to package, cut out and patch for reinforcementto analyze the data of wooden buildings in Huizhou. Timber breakage sectional maximum stress should meet regulatory requirements to make sure they are safe and they needn't to be repaired for reinforcement if they can hold the load.(6) By checking theory and numerical analysis of the Huizhou traditional architecture wooden were compared,we can verify the feasibility of strengthening poles repair methods.The study of Huizhou traditional architecture wooden reinforcement and repair Design Method can provide a reference for the people work for protecting and reconstructing Huizhou architecture. And the study provide a strength theoretical basis for the protection and reconstruction of ancient buildings in Huizhou, which plays an significant part in protecting and inheriting Huizhou architecture.
