The remote sensing satellite coverage features play an important role in remote sensing applications. Although there have been a lot of study on remote sensing satellite ground cover features at present, the searchers still face three questions:(1) application scope is limited. Most of the research direction tends to gain accurate remote sensing satellite instantaneous ground cover band, which leads to the study of how to apply to arbitrary geometry area less at present;(2) a high efficiency and high precision sexual cannot compatible. Because of its grid feature set, although the cover method based on grid application range is widely used and accepted by most scholars, if a quick calculation simulation is required, the grid set must be enlarge, which leads to the calculation of satellite ground cover inaccurate. So in order to get the most accurate condition of satellite ground cover, the grid need be set small enough to make up for the error the grid caused by. Then the efficiency of calculation is worse, namely, a high efficiency and high precision sexual incompatibility problem;(3) large amount of data makes the serial algorithm meet the "bottleneck". In face of massive remote sensing satellites, especially many constellations need carry out simulation analysis to some area at the same time, then the single mass remote sensing satellite ground covering algorithm will be very time consuming, and the system also will be collapse.Due to the above three problems encountered in the process of research, this paper puts forward the "the high Precision remote sensing satellites covering method over ground based on the geometric topology". The method is composed of three solutions:(1) “covering method over ground facing any geometric area”, on the basis of the rectangle ground cover method, the applicable area is replaced by arbitrary geometry according to the regular of longitude and latitude range region, and increased the target area of the grid mesh filter algorithm in the process of constructing the target area. On the satellite transit coverage analysis, setting the threshold value can deal with the discrete problem of satellite transit caused by regional features.(2) “covering method over ground based on the geometric topology”, it uses intersection and union set operations of spatial geometric relationships to calculate the coverage area of the track of satellite transit and object region for each transit coverage area, and the geometry area of intersection operation is each transit coverage area. Then reuses each transit coverage of the geometry area of intersection operation to calculate the total transit coverage area, and the transit coverage of the geometry area is the total transit coverage area. So the high precision cover characteristics is got;(3) “distributed remote sensing satellite covering over ground”, by regarding the single remote sensing satellite ground cover method as important computing nodes, and regarding compute nodes as the calculating unit, the researchers calculate transit the area according to the order tasks dispatching center assigns;Above three solutions also achieve satisfying results:(1) by analyzing of massive coverage characteristic experiments which take most of the provincial, city and county in China's administrative area and the United States, Japan and other administrative areas as an example, "covering method over ground facing to any geometric area" is proved which can analyze arbitrarily complex geometric area coverage characteristic. The method lays the research foundation for coverage analysis application of any area;(2) because the research on the polygon intersection and set operation is comparatively mature, "covering method over ground based on the geometric topology" will greatly improve the accuracy of satellite ground cover features on the condition of without increasing the amount of calculation. Taking China's administrative area as target analysis area, High Score 1 as transit satellites, by a large number of contrast analysis experiment with "covering method over ground based on grid", the experimental results show that the precision of "covering method over ground based on the geometric topology" improves nearly 1% in the case of general efficiency increasing 6 times;(3) on the premise of rational utilization of computing resources, " distributed remote sensing satellites covering over ground" speeds up the efficiency of simulation. By comparing with "single remote sensing satellite ground cover ", when the node number is 5, the efficiency of solution increases about three times. When the node number is increased, the efficiency of solution is close to a straight line. At the same time, the method is applied to the many star network coverage analysis simulation program, which meets requirements of the current remote sensing satellite ground cover in multiple satellites, real-time, visualization, high efficiency, high precision and so on.
