Researches On The Tendencies Of Contemporary Chinese Localization Of Architectural Creation

The modernism architecture, which appeared in the early twentieth century, had a profound influence on the development of the entire human architecture, and the "international" architectural style evolved from its development is still popular now. But the problems are that the convergence of architectural style, the loss of regional characteristics and the disappearance of traditional technology arise along with the appearance of the "international" architecture. Under such social background, architects pay more attention to the architectural creation which can reflect regional characteristics and historical culture. In the world, many famous architects conduct architectural practice under the guidance of critical regionalism; In China, Chinese architects have had experimental researches on the localization of architectural creation, but the development of these practices of regional architectural creation is relatively slow. Therefore, the systematic study of the thought and method of the localization of architectural creation in China is becoming more and more important.This paper mainly studies the contemporary Chinese localization of architectural creation. Through the literature reading, the development process of Chinese localization of architecture is sort out. Combined with the design concept of architects, the ideology of contemporary Chinese localization of architectural creation is proposed. By investigating and analyzing cases of localization of architecture, some strategies of localization of architectural design are summarized. Thoughts and methods of artistic creation are classified for systematical study, in order to get the tendencies of contemporary Chinese localization of architectural creation.Under the guidance of being based on the land, architectural creation tendencies of primitive exploration based on the land combine concerning about environment attributes as creative starting point. Under the guidance of construction of artistic conception, creation tendencies of the cultural continuation constructed with artistic conception combine interpretation of cultural attributes as creative starting point. Under the guidance of inheritance of artistry, creation tendencies of exhaling the old and inhaling the new by inheritance of artistry combine remodeling properties as creative starting point. To show the main thoughts and methods of artistic creation of contemporary Chinese localization architecture, through these three tendencies. And finally it hopes that this paper can be a meaningful reference to the contemporary architects for the localization of architectural creation, and be helpful for the development of Chinese localization of architecture.
