The vibration of engine block can influence the accessory performance of internal combustion engine and influence the vehicle ride comfort by transmitting vibration power to the carrier and radiating noise. With the help of a variety of specialized computer software, the body vibration simulation can be more efficient and product development cycle is shorted. In this paper, computer software like Creo, ANSYS, ADAMS was used to complete the modeling of a V-12 engine parts, the working process simulation, vibration analysis and also analyze the impact of the output of the body protruding structure on the vibration of asymmetric engine block.First, in the process of establishing the internal combustion engine simulation model, the engine block and crankshaft which made an important influence to the vibration needed to build their flexible body to build engine rigid-flexible coupling model. Matters need to pay attention was mentioned on the rigidity progress of engine block and crankshaft.Secondly, the internal combustion engine exciting force was introduced and analyzed, it came to a conclusion that the reciprocating inertial forces and torque, rotation inertia force and torque was balanced in theory, but it was not balanced because of the deformation of engine block and crankshaft in fact. It needed to avoid 0.5,1,2 times of the speed of engine rated frequency about engine block's design.Thirdly, the vibration of engine block under three fixed forms was simulated. It found that the vibration of engine block was nicer when the fixed position was closer to the surface of body output end after comparing vibration data of test position. At the same time, the engine block was made mode analysis and the reason of low vibration in third subject was explained through comparing modal shape.Fourthly, the influence of groove structure to the vibration of engine block was analyzed and found that the vibration of engine block with groove structure was lower. The phenomenon was not casual through the simulation of two round bars which had same size and exciting force but one of them had groove.Finally, the structure strength analysis of engine block is conducted in ANSYS Workbench to get its deformation, stress, strain. Strength check of engine block is made to make sure the engine block meet security strength requirement.
