Inthis paper, we take a small commercial building witch needing a functional transformation in Chengdu region for study anddesign optimization of seismic reinforcement. By seismic performance of the original structure of the analysis, the structure has a sufficient margin of the axial compression ratio and other parameters. After adding layer reinforcement structure to retain the original structure, seismic performance analysis. The results show that after adding layer seismic performance meet the basic regulatory requirements, only a portion of the reinforcement member does not meet the requirements. Lack of reinforcement members were taken Nien steel reinforcement method and stick method of high-strength glass fiber reinforced reinforcement through an economic comparison, select the appropriate reinforcement scheme, so as to achieve the purpose of optimizing the design.According to the existing theoretical research, this paper has done the following work:(1) By PKPM design software, we need to be reinforced by layers of the original mechanical properties of commercial buildings under earthquake analysis to verify whether they have the possibility of adding layer.(2) Commercial building model layer will increase after the original commercial building models and mechanical properties compared to construction-related performance analysis after adding layer meets the regulatory requirements. Using Midas/gen software after adding layer structure seismic response spectrum analysis through its cycle than Europe and the main reaction modes, to determine their seismic performance meets specifications.(3) Commercial building beams, columns reinforcement member tested by calculating the difference between the reinforcement and real reinforcement reinforcement to determine whether to meet the requirements. According to the test results on the reinforcement member inadequate reinforcement.(4) Use of PKPM software JDJG module to complete the seismic retrofit work on the member. In order to achieve the purpose of optimizing the design, respectively sticky steel reinforcement and sticky high-strength glass fiber cloth reinforcement member method.(5) Different methods of strengthening the economy compared to determine the preferred embodiment.The above research, through appropriate data processing, obtained conclusions are as follows:(1)Analysis of the seismic performance of the original building showed excellent seismic performance of the original structure, small torsion effect structure under seismic action, a larger margin of axial compression ratio.Seismic Profiling Results(2) Showed that after adding layer structure: floor shear weight ratio is reduced, is due to increasing layer of each floor assumed earthquake becomes smaller; after adding layer building before a strikeout cycle becomes long, the overall stiffness of the structure and decreased compared to the original structure, but the structure period ratio changed little, indicating that well-structured layer after increasing overall torsional performance; earthquake, horizontal displacement and interlayer displacement angle and structure compared to the original structure has increased, and structural modal cycle longer consistent performance. Response spectrum analysis results structure of the first and second modes of translation, the third vibration mode of torsion, Torsion effect good control, comply with the relevant regulatory requirements.(3) According to the size of the structure reinforcement member insufficient difference, the reinforcement member classify a serious shortage, lack of reinforcement and reinforcement to reinforce a small amount of less than three, in such a way to determine the classification reinforcement member for structural reinforcement of effect size; Nien steel reinforcement method using high-strength adhesive and glass FRP structural reinforcement method respectively, and by comparing the economy to achieve the preferred reinforcing analyze designs; from an economic point of view and schedule, etc., for the owners, should choose high-strength glass fiber cloth reinforcement to increase the layer structure.
