With the rapid development of the national economy,the manufacturing industry of China, especially the automotive industry, has made great progress. To the end of last year, car ownership in China has reached 137 million, the country has a number of cars in 31 cities over one million, including Beijing, Tianjin, Chengdu, Shenzhen, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Suzhou, Hangzhou and other eight cities the number of cars more than 2 million, more than 5 million cars in Beijing. Traffic noise, industrial noise, urban construction noise and noise pollution issues become commercial activity factors seriously affect the quality of life of residents.This paper described the current situation and the hazards of noise pollution problem, and then discusses the evaluation and control methods by noise, traffic noise barrier is an effective way to control noise pollution.
