Over the last decade, different countries have been highly valued on the strength of plane detection. Most domestic and foreign research teams complete testing of structure strength based on wireless sensor network technology. These studies have a common feature that the count of nodes is small and are more suitable for applications in buildings, bridges and other occasions needing a few nodes. Due to the limited number of channels and other factors, the wireless sensor network technology cannot be applied to a large node cluster in a short time. Currently, the Aircraft Strength Research Institute detects aircraft strength with centralized data collection methods. In order to improve the existing detection method, the paper proposes using multi-channel data acquisition systems for detecting aircraft strength.Starting with the improvement of current aircraft strength detection method, the paper, on the basis of research actuality and the existing collection node, analyzes the functional requirements and detection characteristics and proposes a method suitable for static testing. The method divided aircraft into several regions according to the structure characteristics. Then data is collected and stored by multi-channel data acquisition system which contains 64 interface for acquisition. Subsequently, data is uploaded to computer and displayed in an application through a router. Meanwhile, the multi-channel data acquisition system supports Clock Synchronization, which ensure each module has a uniform clock. Accordingly, the data containing the precise time has more value.The multi-channel data acquisition system chooses STM32F107 as the processor, picks ADS8568 which is a 16-Bit, 8-Channel, simultaneous sampling, bipolar input ADC as the analog to digital converter, selects SD card as the exterior memorizer which is used to store data combining zn FAT file system, chooses DP83848, a single port 10/100 Mb/s Ethernet physical layer transceiver, as Ethernet physical layer transceiver which transfers data with MAC and Lw IP stack. The application which is designed based on Lab View displays and stores the data. Meanwhile, clock is synchronized between two modules with IEEE1588 protocol.After testing, the multi-channel data acquisition system can complete the basic functions and meet the basic designed needs. The state, 90000 cable leading from the fuselage, can be resolves effectively. In addition, the system will be easy for testers install and troubleshoot. Therefore, the system can be widely applied to large scale data acquisition applications.
