Switched reluctance motor(SRM) has the characteristics of simple structure, low cost, high reliability and good fault tolerance as well as its prominent advantage in speed adjustment and control performance.Therefore,it has quickly become a hot spot in the field of electric vehicles and new energy vehicles. However,it produces large torque ripple during rotation and causes noise,thus it has seriously hampered the promotion and application of SRM in industrial fields.To solve these problems,a new method on direct torque control of switched reluctance motor based on fuzzy control is proposed.The main work is as follows:Firstly,the paper describes the basic structure and working principle of SRM,then,establish the mathematical model and introduce several traditional control strategy. In order to solve the problem,we put forward that direct torque control could be used to suppress the torque ripple.The simulation results confirm that the direct torque control has a good performance on torque ripple suppression.However,the traditional direct torque control method could still produce a certain torque ripple during rotation and influence the response speed of the motor.Secondly,the paper studies the fuzzy control theory,proposes the application of fuzzy control theory in direct torque control system and impoves the traditional controller.In the SRM double closed loop control system,we replace the traditional speed regulator with a fuzzy PI speed regulator.At the same time,we replace the direct torque controller with a fuzzy direct torque controller. A new type of switched reluctance motor direct torque control system based on fuzzy control theory is built and then a simulation is carried out. The results of the simulations show that it is of better dynamic and steady system performance than the traditional direct torque control and obtains good effect on torque ripple suppression.Finally,the paper detailedly introduces the hardware structure and principle of switched reluctance motor test platform based on TMS320F28335.The program flow of fuzzy controller is designed and then the fuzzy direct torque control program is written. At last,various performance indexes are tested when motor is running.The experiment results verify that the method proposed in this paper has a good effect on the torque ripple suppression and the improved system shows good dynamic and steady system performance.
