Retain Nostalgia

Philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson once said: "The existence of the city is relying on memory." Cities have a memory of their own as same as human.Everyone who lives in the city has witnessed the history of urban development.The author is going to discuss about How to leave the collective remember in every inch of land,every river,and every street of the city. The Urbanization Central Work Conference put forward, "to make the city into the nature,so that the residents could see the mountains,see the visible water, remember nostalgia." "Nostalgia" is memory and vision to the hometown and the place they once lived deep in the heart, is the sincere emotion and spiritual need. However, the fast-paced wave of urbanization has led some cities to be similar, the cities lost memories, nostalgia loses sustenance for the community. Thus, in the process of urban construction, we should effectively protect and sustain the city’s historical memory, collective memory of the community to maintain identity, and convey realistic understanding of the significance of space and emotional space through the material carrier of city tourism landscape, so that it can reflect the sense of belonging and identity of individuals and groups to the city.For this reason,the paper draws on the research results of multidisciplinary field and analyzes social and economic value of city "Nostalgia" tourism landscape from body memory of city departure; combines characteristics of Nanchang historical landscape resources and proposes the general idea objective of Nanchang tourism landscape planning; focus on the planning principles of "point" belt "line" and "face" belt "line", recreate and enhance the charm and cultural value of Nanchang tourism landscape, so residents and tourists get a sense of belonging and identity.Finally,the paper refers to some thought-provoking problems of urban tourism landscape in nostalgic memories again, and strive to awaken people to the importance of urban memory and historic culture,so as to preserve the nostalgia of the city better.
