| With the the rapid development of the national economy and urbanization,city construction is destroying the historical monuments, natural landscapes and other memory carrier, it caused a serious urban amnesia crisis. In order to avoid the city turn into a ammesia city that without history or characteristics in the process of modernization, Landscape Architecture is an important way to save and continue urban memory. The dissertation try to summarize the landscape design method based on the research of urban memory and urban elements,and apply it to the planning and design of XingAn park,Ankang,Shanxi.The dissertation is divided into four chapters, the Chapter I summarized and analyzed the research results about the urban memory at home and abroad,and analyzed the research trend, present situation and current problems of urban memory. In the Chapter II, according to preliminary data collection, analysis and my own awareness and research, I summarized the definition, carrier and major elements of urban memory, profoundly analyze the typical designing cases and then discuss the different approaches to extend the curban memory in landscape architecture design in terms of tangible and intangible memory elements,specific examples and explanation are also given to support the analysis. With the principle and guidance discussed in Chapter I and II, I analyze the situation of Xin An Park in Ankang and propose the designing plan in Chapter III. The design aims at reminding visitors of the memory about this old and charming city as well as offering citizens a city park which well fits the modern life.The innovation in this dissertation is as follows:it brings the geographical, climatic, historic, material features of Ankang and its folk custom into full consideration, discuss the designing plan of Xin An park from the angle of urban memory carrying and extension, collect, evaluate and select the relevant elements of urban memory and include these menory elements in designing with the proven designing methods so as to ensure the park will carry forward the old urban memory and benefit the future city development. |
