With the rapid development of automobile industry,the shortage problem of oil and other fuel become more and more severe.Through people continue to explore,new energy vehicles gradually drive into millions of families,The using of new energy vehicles has a considerable inhibitory effect on the current stage of the haze problems.Automotive power equipment develop from the era of the steam engine,the era of the internal combustion engine to the era of new energy now.From a macro perspective,The traditional power equipment through the fuel combustion work outside.The environmental pollution is inevitable during the process of combustion.The waste batteries in the use of electric vehicles will also indirectly cause some pollution to the environment.Because of the existence of these problems,the research into air-powered engines of domestic and foreign experts and scholars becomes gradually deeper.This topic which is based on the theory of multisubjects designs a two stage air-powered engine and conducted the dynamic simulation analysis and experiment of the flow field in the cylinder.At the same time,the effect of air energy storage medium on the performance of air-powered engine is explored.This paper summarizes the research of domestic and foreign air-powered engines power performance and puts forward a new type of air-powered engine which is based on an air compressor.After a series of theoretical analysis,designing and bench test,the prototype manufacturing is completed finally.With the support of computational fluid dynamics and CFD software,The dynamic flow of high pressure gas in the cylinder of the air-powered engine is simulated.The influence of the flow field on the power and efficiency of the air-powered engine is obtained by the microscopic analysis,and then the bench test is carried out.By comparing the results of simulation with the experiment,it provides a reference for further optimization of the air-powered engine.The main contents of this paper are as follows:First,The principle and overall design of the air-powered engine is discussed,a three dimensional model and control equation are established for the flow field in the cylinder and the internal turbulence model is introduced Meanwhile,the dynamic flow analysis and the movement state of the whole engine are analyzed,the change of pressure and velocity in the cylinder is simulated,the effective power of engine is calculated.At the same time,The movement state of the piston is simulated basing on the MATLAB.Finally,the experimental and simulation results of the air-powered engine are compared and analyzed.
