Due to the oil expulsion mechanism, output flux of displacement hydraulic pumps varies periodically. When encountering load impedance, varying flow results in pressure pulsation which spreads through pipeline and causes components vibrating. Vibration will cause damage, affect system operational reliability and lead to great loss in economy and energy. Taking flow pulsation of hydraulic system as research object, this paper presents a structure as compound attenuator. Main research contents are as follows:Firstly, the causes of vibration in system are studied and the principle of dynamic absorber is analyzed. Based on the principle analysis of several common fluid pulsation attenuators, the mathematical models of H-type resonator and perforated plate are established. Insertion loss is used to study attenuation characteristics of each structure.Secondly, with the use of perforated plate and circular thin sheet, a compound attenuator structure is proposed, which combines the damping effect of perforated plate and the dynamic vibration absorbing of thin sheet. Based on fluid network theory, the dynamic model of compound attenuator is built.Thirdly, with the help of software MATLAB, simulation of attenuation characteristics of compound attenuator is carried out under the dynamic load of straight pipe and throttle valve. The influence of key parameters of structure on attenuation characteristics is studied by changing their value.Finally, the hydraulic vibration test-bed is established and experimental research shows that compound fluid attenuator could suppress fluid pulsation well over a wide frequency range and the effects are different under different conditions of pressure and revolving speed. In addition, the experimental results basically consist with the simulation results, which confirm the feasibility of the way of mathematical modeling.
