With the development of human society,the problem of energy and environment is becoming more and more serious and it is imperative to explore new energy.Wind energy,as a renewable green energy,has attracted more attention.Taking into account the characteristics of wind environment in urban architecture,integration of building and wind power can effectively alleviate the problem of urban energy shortage.Compared to the traditional way of using wind energy,it has many obvious advantages,and it can effectively improve the urban environment as a green building.Hence,integration of architecture and wind energy has now become a international hot issue.Under the condition of class-B terrain roughness in atmospheric boundary layer,wind tunnel experiments and numerical simulation were employed to investigate the wind characteristics and all the rigid-wall test models were established with geometric scale of 1:300 herein.Much attention was paid to the following issues:(1)The effects of the wind channel spacing on wind energy utilization efficiency of diffuser high-rise buildings have been analyzed.(2)The paper investigated the influence of building forms on wind energy utilization effect.(3)Based on different building section forms,the characteristics of flow field around buildings have been researched as well.(4)The paper discussed the wind energy utilization effect on account of windward side width,channel length and altitude difference with adjacent buildings for square building.(5)The analysis of wind pressure on the surface of windward side and the channel was demonstrated at last.Compared the data of wind tunnel tests with the numerical simulation results,the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)The result of numerical simulation is consistent with experiment,which can present the wind field characteristics around the diffuser high-rise buildings veritably and accurately.(2)Wind energy utilization effect weaken with the increase of wind channel spacing and the wind angle,which reaches the optimum under the wind angle of 0 degrees.(3)Diffuser high-rise buildings with circular cross section have better wind energy utilization efficiency and are not prone to influenced by the wind angle compared to the square buildings.(4)As to square buildings,windward side width has larger effect on wind utilization effect in comparison to the channel length and the maximum value of wind pressure coefficient changes with the architectural plane size.(5)Affected by the altitude difference,the optimum location of gathering effect changes and the wind pressure coefficient of the shorter building disturbed by the altitude difference is more obvious.
