The problem of environmental pollution is becoming more and more serious, along with the economic development and urbanization in China. It is necessary for China to investigate and utilize the renewable energy resources, but the wind energy superiority causes it to become a present era big subject. Integration of wind energy and building design is one of the frontier research areas. Wind power generation in the built environment can be used to the building itself without power transportation and it provides new ideas for the development of energy-efficient buildings and green buildings. In this thesis, for flat plate and bluff body architecture patterns, such as unilateral circle channel, unilateral square channel, bilateral square channel, high-low square channel and unequal height roof, the wind-energy utilization is mainly studied. By comparing the efficiency of wind energy of unilateral circle channel and unilateral square channel, the perfect channel is obtained. The size of channel is also optimized. Based on the perfect channel, bilateral square channel and high-low square channel is simulated to analyze the wind energy efficiency under different wind directions. For bluff body pattern, wind-energy utilization on the flat roof is analyzed and the wind velocity influenced by unequal height roof is compared. The optimal locations on unequal height roof which benefit wind-energy utilization are gained and the size of height difference is optimized.
